Consultations & Training
Justine will visit you and your horse in your own environment for a private consultation. She will take a full history and assess your horse's management, environment, training and any problems you are experiencing.
She will then work with you to create an effective programme, tailored to suit both you and your horse's individual circumstances. Many issues can be resolved after one consultation with small changes in management. Other problems may need a follow-up visit or training sessions to solve long-term.

Before: Complete an initial questionnaire about your horse, their management and any behaviour problems, then return it to Justine at least 24 hrs before the consultation.
On the day: The consultation takes around 2 hours which will include practical training with you and your horse where appropriate. Management and training programmes will be discussed and implemented as necessary.
After: Receive an email with a bespoke training and/or management plan, recommendations as to how you should proceed and any resources that would be helpful for you. Email and telephone support is included for 1 month after any visit.
Costs
Initial consultation: £215 *
Written report: £125 (optional)
Follow up visits / training / lessons: £75 per session *
Reduced fees are available to registered equine charities, welfare organisations and rescue centres.
* Travel expenses: 50p per mile round trip from postcode area CH45 (no charge for first and last 20 miles).
Remote Consultations
Justine can also help you address any behavioural problems you are having via a Remote Consultation. This can be held via phone, Zoom or Skype.
To book: Contact Justine to find out if a Remote Consultation would be suitable for you and to book a time.
Before: Complete an initial questionnaire about your horse, their management and any behaviour problems, then return it to Justine at least 24 hrs before the consultation.
On the day: Justine will contact you at the arranged time to discuss your horse, the nature of the problem and give you tailored advice to resolve the issues you are experiencing.
After: Receive an email with a bespoke training and/or management plan and recommendations as to how you should proceed and resources that would be helpful for you. Email and telephone support is included for 2 weeks after a Remote Consultation.

Advice Calls
Justine can also give you advice over the phone.
An Advice Call could help you when you need some general advice, for example:
if you have questions about horse behaviour or training
if you feel stuck with your horse and are unsure of what to do next
if you are considering becoming a horse behaviour consultant
if you need access to expert behaviour advice immediately
if you have questions about equine management.
Please note: Advice Calls do not replace consultations and may not fix any behaviour problems you are experiencing with your horse. However, Justine may be able to offer advice that could improve your situation short-term.
To book: Contact Justine to find out if an Advice Call would be suitable for you and to book a time for your chat.
Before: Fill in a questionnaire about the nature of your enquiry giving as much detail as possible, then return it to Justine at least 24 hrs before your call.
On the day: Justine will call you at the arranged time for a helpful 30 minute chat giving you tailored advice.
After: Receive an email recapping your recommendations and listing any resources that would be helpful for you.

Talks & Workshops
Justine can visit your yard, riding school, vet practice or organisation to present talks or workshops on all aspects of horse behaviour, management and training. Presentations can range from a two-hour evening talk to a 1 or 2 day workshop with both lectures and hands-on practical exercises with horses. All presentations can be tailor made to individual requirements.
